After the death of his father at the hands of his brother Hades, Zeus stops Hades' heart so he cannot wield the Olympian crystal before condemning Hades to rule over the Underworld.
Season 5[]
Due to Killian Jones's part in helping destroy Hades, Zeus allows him to return to the land of the living.
