The Cheshire Cat, nicknamed Chesh, is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. He is voiced by Keith David.
Biography
Background
The Cheshire Cat knew Alice from her previous adventures in Wonderland, where apparently they were more friends than enemies and the Cheshire Cat was less sinister.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
Whilst climbing a tree to see how far they are from the Mad Hatter's old house, the Cheshire Cat appears in the tree as well, however he is far bigger than Alice remembers him, becoming dark with the Red Queen's reign. With a lack of food in the Tulgey Woods, the Cheshire Cat attacks Alice with the intention of eating her, stating the Red Queen promised that Alice would be the sweetest meat he'd ever tasted. The Cheshire Cat overpowers Alice with his newfound size and strength, but when Will throws a piece of magic mushroom into the Cheshire Cat's mouth, he shrinks to a harmless size and bounces away in the woods.

Trivia
- He is based on the Cheshire Cat from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
- When Alice asks if the Cheshire Cat is going to eat her, he replies, "Not with pepper". In the original story, the Cheshire Cat was owned by a duchess whose cook put an unhealthy amount of pepper in their food.
